Jean-Yves Courtois is CEO of McMurdo and its holding company Orolia Group. Prior to McMurdo/Orolia, Jean-Yves was Chairman and CEO of Temex. As CEO of Thales Microsonics, he directed the sale of the unit to Temex in 2002. He also headed strategy and business development for Thales’ Communications Components Division, was head of Thomson-CSF Optronics’ Laser Optronics department and was Chief Counsellor at the French Department of Defense following academic work in quantum physics. Jean-Yves is a Graduate from the Ecole Polytechnique and holds a PhD in Physics.
Chief Operating Officer
Irwin Rodrigues is Chief Operating Officer of McMurdo and was recently President and CEO of Boatracs (which was acquired in 2012). Prior to Boatracs, Irwin spent several years at Microsoft where, as Director of the Microsoft Project business, he had responsibility for global revenue and global strategies for products, marketing, sales and strategic partnerships. Irwin has also worked in the venture capital and management consulting industries and began his career in software development. Irwin has two engineering degrees and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Chief Marketing Officer
Randel Maestre is Chief Marketing Officer for McMurdo where he leads sales and marketing. He previously was Vice President, Worldwide Industry, Field and Channel Marketing at Polycom which included a 2-year assignment in Singapore. Randel has held management positions in marketing, product management, sales and business development for Fortune 500 companies (AT&T/Lucent) and startups. He has lived and worked in Asia, Europe (Netherlands) and Latin America (Mexico). Randel has a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California and an MBA in Marketing / Finance from Columbia University.

Aviation and Military Business Unit Manager
Christian Belleux is Aviation and Military Business Unit Manager at McMurdo. Christian held a similar role with Orolia including General Manager of Orolia SAS. Christian has held various marketing and business development positions at Lucas Aerospace and Meggitt Aerospace. Christian has an engineering degree in Aerospace from ESTACA and a Masters in European and International Management from ESC Reims. He has also participated in the Boston Northeastern University International Business Program and the INSEAD European Marketing Program.
Business Unit Manager, Safety & Security Systems
Mark Cianciolo is the Safety & Security Systems Business Unit Manager for McMurdo responsible for search and rescue infrastructure, coastal surveillance and fleet management solutions. Mark is a proven leader in global operations and business development, with extensive experience in National Security and Defense Contracting in mission critical functional domains. He served in the United States Marine Corps for 27 years, achieving the rank of Colonel before joining the private sector. He maintains Active Top Secret (SCI) security clearance. Mark holds a Master of Science, Business from Saint Mary University, a Master of Arts, National Security and Strategic Studies from Naval War College, a Master of Arts & Sciences, Operations from the School of Advanced Military Studies, U.S. Army Command & General Staff College and a BS, Geography (Geographic Information Systems & Remote Sensing) from University of Nebraska.
Managing Director and Business Unit Manager, Marine Products
Justine Heeley is Managing Director and Business Unit Manager for McMurdo’s marine products business. In addition to leading various marine solutions and search and rescue initiatives, Justine is responsible for McMurdo’s Portsmouth, UK manufacturing site. She has over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and in the marine industry with her most recent position as Managing Director at Drew Marine Signal and Safety. Justine actively supports the UK marine industry, holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Export Management and speaks Spanish, French and Italian.
